UPDATES
It seems a long time since I last posted anything
on this Blog, due to various computer glitches and refurbishment of my workroom in which
my P.C is housed.
I thought I would just show a few pictures to cover the meetings missed since the last post

Sewing Days
After several members said how much they had enjoyed spending a few hours sewing together at the National Sewing Day, We decided that we would like to continue the experience.
Members volunteer to host the afternoon sessions which usually last from 2.0pm to 4.0pm. on agreed dates.
Joan Smith will be hosting the next session on Monday March 19th from 2-4pm.
The pictures below are from our last meeting at Sandra’s house
Our speaker in June was Rubina Porter, who described to us her work at the Sreepur Village Project.
Amongst the items that she had on display was a silk embroidered quilt, which was not for sale. When we expressed some interest in it Ruby invited us to embroider a square. We took 20 squares and stitched a flower of our choice on each.
The squares will be put together by the ladies at Sreepur to make a quilt that will be auctioned or raffled for fundraising.
