January Meeting

The Story So Far.

Our speaker this month was Liliane Taylor, who told us about her

varied and very interesting career in textiles, from designing

clothes to teaching, workshops and artist in residence. She is also a member of the Ten Plus group.

Liliane hand dyes her own fabrics and threads, and uses a lot

of vintage and recycled fabrics such as lace and embroidered pieces.

She  brought many very interesting pieces for us to look at.

Some of these pieces have been made into Giclee prints

Looking at Lutradur.

Sandra bought in some ready painted pieces of lutradur in different weights for members to explore and experiment.

Below are some of the initial experiments
Hopefully there will be some completed projects at a later date.
